Mac OS X

I've never owned a computer that could be considered on the cutting edge as far as hardware, so the fact that a Mac isn't built for gaming is just fine by me.

I'm on my second Intel iMac & my second MacBook and so far everything seems to be going fairly well. I'm mainly interested in Macintosh computers because Mac OS X runs BSD underneath everything & that makes it easy to integrate them into my existing Wikipedia:Linux network.

A huge bonus is that if something's horribly wrong with my machine I can just take it into one of the *5* Apple Store locations within 15 miles of my apartment =]

Besides... for all of my real work I just boot into CentOS through VMWare Fusion on the iMac or the MacBook. =]

I absolutely cannot recommend Parallels at all, I've given it several chances and every time I've been unhappy.
